Scenario
We were approached by a world-famous athlete with multiple Super Bowl rings, a critical leader of the winningest team in modern NFL history.
He wanted to tokenize and sell a one-of-a-kind digital item he'd secretly stashed away for 9 years.
This wasn’t digital art or your typical NFT. It was a piece of football history from one of the most infamous players of all time, that no one in the general public or sports media knew even existed.
Strategy
Web development and design, PR and media campaign, influencer marketing, branding, and celebrity partnerships.
We created a website with high visual impact, which our client and his team enthusiastically approved of, then crafted an exciting press release which was used to secure media coverage from major outlets.
We continued to market via sports and crypto influencers, as well as one of the top 20 podcasts.
While interest in the upcoming NFT auction was high, our client wanted to leverage this interest for something even bigger, so we designed, branded and built a complete NFT marketplace. It had functionality and design on par with top sites like Nifty Gateway or NBA Top Shot.
The marketplace attracted some of the biggest names in the worlds of sports and entertainment as partners.
This situation allowed us to introduce Crypto MKTG clients to more crypto-curious celebrities, generating several celebrity partnership agreements.
Outcome
Secured massive media coverage. Created NFT marketplace that attracted multiple celebrity partners. Historic NFT sold for 3x client's target price.
